Happy New Year and welcome to 2024. This is going to be a big year for Frodsham Sings Community Choir. It is our tenth anniversary. Yes, we have been going strong for ten whole years, rising from a group of just a few people, to an 80-strong family of music lovers; under the direction of our wonderful Musical Director, Ian Oulton. Ian works so hard for this choir, putting in hours of his own free time and pulling everything together to make us what we are, and we are so grateful for his instruction. Ably supported by our marvellous and hardworking Steering Group, Ian is leading Frodsham Sings towards an exciting 2024. Beginning with the most thrilling news we have had possibly ever – we will be singing at the 2024 Llangollen Eisteddfod! We’ve been attending this incredible musical event for some years now, and this year, we have been selected by a panel of judges, to perform in the grounds of the Eisteddfod – we’ve not quite made it to the main stage in the arena just yet! This is going to be an amazing and rewarding experience and a chance to bring Frodsham Sings to a wider audience – and we’re over the moon! What other intriguing events does 2024 hold for us???
