A fabulous evening of talent -going green to raise money for Clatterbridge Hospital Appeal

We had a wonderful time taking part in a talent concert at St Laurence Church Frodsham last Saturday 9 February in aid of Clatterbridge New Hospital appeal – wrapping up the evening with a show stopping performance of inspirational music!  The Cheese and Wine supper afterwards was pretty good too!

Come along and support this great evening of talent!!

Do come along to support Clatterbridge’s appeal!

Superb line up of talent including Frodsham Sings!!!  Line up so far:

Daniel Axworthy (Liverpool Philharmonic) and David Leslie duetting on violin and piano

Peter Axworthy doing his fantastic Honky Tonk set on the piano

Frodsham Players will be previewing their next comedy production “Three Days in the Country”

Our favourite local actor Michael Alex Thompson (Mike from Kash 22) giving us a musical theatre performance

The fabulous Frodsham Sings

Father Michael will recite two poems, both special commissions from Andrew Rudd our local poet – ‘Spirit of Frodsham’ and a new poem specially commissioned for Clatterbridge.

All of this, plus cheese and wine at the interval, an absolute bargain for a tenner

aaand that’s a wrap!!!

Our last christmas ‘gig’ at M&S Cheshire Oaks Food Hall this morning ( plus an early flashmob in the cafe beforehand) which for one and a half hour’s singing ( and a lot of laughter and dancing..yes gentlemen I saw you…) raised the gobsmacking sum of £510 for our two charities!!! A massive thank you to M&S and their staff and customers!!!
So proud as MD of the choir who have given freely of their time this Christmas, sometimes in the cold and wet and dark to raise, just carol singing alone, over £1000!!!!
Merry Christmas to all our followers and friends on facebook – more exciting stuff in 2019 – and you can always come along and join us from 12 January…

The Big Reveal..plus bacon butties..

We are again at our second home at HELSBY METHODIST CHURCH on Saturday 15 December for our final rehearsal of 2018…when the BIG REVEAL will take place – our programme of 2019 songs to take us into the summer months. Some old, and quite a few new – the choir members have been busy voting for their favourite from our back library ..and the result will be revealed tomorrow! We are all having bacon egg or sausage buttes as a treat as well!

WE still have a couple of performances before Christmas so watch this space!

Ho Ho Helsby – what fun we had!
