Great work this morning

Thanks for a great rehearsal this morning with new faces to impress – and they were!!! You all worked very hard, rockin’ around the clock, dancing with a Queen and Hoppin’!!!!

Three more rehearsals to the Festival and other ‘gigs’ in the pipeline!!!

If you haven’t experienced having a sing with us come along next Saturday!

Reminder about this Saturday

I hope you had a good Bank Holiday break and are newly refreshed!

Just a reminder that we are rehearsing on Saturday at the Community Centre – as I understand it we have the ‘GP’ room downstairs which has a kitchen so we can bring some refreshment – any volunteers for tea/coffee/sugar/milk? (will be reimbursed)

I will be giving you the final list for the festival – about 7 songs so we can concentrate on getting them right in the six rehearsals left!!!

Ian

A good morning’s sing…..

Ian wants us to learn all this!!!!!

Well done all on a lot of hard work this morning – we ranged from Celtic music to James Bond, from Irish Rovers to Swedish super groups, all in the space of 90 minutes! I hope it wasn’t too intimidating – you can do it!!!!

All going Celtic!!!!

As we can’t vote SNP (joke!! we are purely non political) I thought it would be good to learn a Scottish song – have a listen to this lovely song.

Members – parts and score are available on the members only section.

Our newest recruit!!

Say hello to Coomber – our newest recruit! Nice eyes…..Thanks to our Round Table friends and contributions from our members we have been coomberable to invest in a portable amplifier with wireless mike facility to enhance our rehearsals and make performances easier – we still have some additional equipment to purchase to go with Coomber so will be looking to raise money for these in the coming months.

Frodsham Round Table lend a helping hand – Thank You!!!!

Saturday 11 April 2015 – We were delighted to be awarded a donation of £500 from Frodsham Round Table towards purchase of equipment to help us develop as a Choir – Thank you SO MUCH!!! You weren’t bad singers either so you’re welcome anytime!!!!!!

Today we met more great people from our lovely community. Frodsham Sings is a choir that was started just a few years ago and since then it has gone from strength to
strength. Our donation has helped to buy much needed choir equipment and music books. Lovely to meet them, and have a singalong, with them all today!
