It might be August but Frodsham Sings rolls on….magic!!

newchoir membersWe are continuing to meet throughout August by popular demand and welcome all the new faces to our happy throng over recent weeks!  Some members are on a well deserved holiday but we look forward to seeing you back – we’ve started some new songs including Take That’s Could it Be Magic (As a Frodsham based group we had to do a bit of Gary Barlow!)  Billy Joel’s Uptown Girl and even Olly Murs, not to mention a couple of lovely Spiriuals and Indian songs.

Members don’t forget your homework on the Members only site – also please remember to subscribe to our posts – look on the right of the homepage.

 Frodsham Sings is growing its membership every week … welcome all …  and the new songs are popular and varied. We are enjoying being stretched with some songs, and having a great singalong with others. We are even planning our Christmas Meal … so        😀    organised …and loving it.     😀

Pre Festival Rehearsal in our New Home

prefestivalpicGreat turnout and sounding good for our last full rehearsal before Frodsham Festival next Sunday Afternoon -we decided to entertain the Community Centre neighbours with a bit of al fresco ABBA!!! We’re on at 2.30pm!!

A Chorister’s Confession……

Provided to me by a friend of mine:

Almighty and most merciful Conductor, We have erred and strayed from thy beat like lost sheep.

We have followed too much the intonations and tempi of our own hearts; we have left unsung those notes which we ought to have sung;

And we have sung those notes which we ought not to have sung, and there is no support in us

But Thou O Conductor have mercy upon us miserable singers; succour the chorally challenged

Restore thou them that need extra note bashing, spare thou them that are without pencil,

Pardon our mistakes and have faith that hereafter we will follow thy direction and sing together imperfect harmony……

say no more…..
