At very short notice we were asked to perform at Morrisons Supermarket as part of their fundraising weekend for the Sue Ryder Charity.

Being the intrepid folks that we are we rose to the challenge and duly walked down to the supermarket after an initial rehearsal to perform some of our current numbers – what a fabulous reaction from staff and customers, some of whom joined in the singing! We have been invited back any time but in particular for Christmas!

Special mention to Sue who came along for the first time this morning and became our ‘groupie’!!!!

We are continuing to meet throughout August by popular demand and welcome all the new faces to our happy throng over recent weeks!  Some members are on a well deserved holiday but we look forward to seeing you back – we’ve started some new songs including Take That’s Could it Be Magic (As a Frodsham based group we had to do a bit of Gary Barlow!)  Billy Joel’s Uptown Girl and even Olly Murs, not to mention a couple of lovely Spiriuals and Indian songs.
